Dead Man's Gift
A DI Carsten Meyer Short Story

A couple are found dead, having been viciously attacked in their own home. DI Carsten Meyer, a top Met murder detective, assumes it had been the result of a home invasion that had gone wrong. The couple’s money and gold had been taken. But as he dug deeper into the case, there were signs that something much more sinister was going on and as he zeroed in on the killer, he would have to ignore his instincts and consider the unthinkable.
author bio
I am a writer and journalist, living in Cheltenham, in the UK. I have been published many times, having written ten books and been published in magazines and newspapers, online and in print. This includes The Times, Building Magazine, Green Building, Home Building and Renovating and many more. I also own my own small imprint called Vagabond Unlimited. I have written and published in a wide range of genres including crime, horror, sci-fi, satire and non-fiction.
